Have you ever wanted to do something so crazy that is just seemed insane. Well friend of CASD-Australia, Lucas Caamal, is going to do just that!
In May 2016 Lucas will set off from Mongolia and cycle on his bike across Asia and Europe back to his home country of France. The journey will take 5 months and will cross Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungry, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and finally France.
“Having a long travel is an old dream for me, and I think this is the right time to do it. Wake up somewhere else every day for 5 months, I absolutely love this idea. And the fact to be able to help a charity by doing it is awesome. I love community aid.”
Determined to interact with all the different people he crosses paths with on his journey Lucas will be taking a soccer ball along with him to play with the people he meets. He has been training hard now for months with at least 20km spent every day training.
CASD-Australia is honoured to have Lucas nominate us as his charity of choice to raise funds for. All funds raised in sponsorship of Lucas’s epic ride will go towards are ongoing rebuilding and community development projects in Nepal and because CASD is a volunteer run organisation 100% of your donations go towards our programs.
