The Temporary Learning Centre project is a School Program implemented in remote schools of Nepal. It aims at healing, supporting and helping Nepalese children to deal with the potential trauma caused by the Earthquakes which happened in May and April 2015 but also to help them develop coping and self-care skills.
The TLC program has been created to offer the kids of the community a familiar and stable environment where they can express themselves freely through a variety of recreational activities. It has been design to complement school, not replace it.
There are 3 different ways you can get involved in the TLC project.
You can help developing the curriculum by sharing with us ideas of activities and resources.
You can go to Nepal to work in a school and implement the TLC activities so as to restore positivity, hope and enthusiasm amongst the children of the community.
You can organise a fundraising to finance the project and buy more material (books, stationary, games etc…) for the schools the TLC work with.
